What a journey...This piece taught me a lot about a lot of things and I'm glad this piece of me is going into an amazing castle.

Here's an interesting one:My guess is this was started at least 50-60 years ago. I added some oil on top and cleaned up the lines. I sanded the frame and applied some boiled linseed oil to protect it. It was originally painted so I left some indications of that behind so the frame can tell its own history.
What a tremendous experience! I also got to bring two amazingly talented artist friends of mine to help get this finished. Completion photos will come shortly but you can't actually photograph the entire piece due to its position so you'll just have to see it in person!
This is some really old pine that a client wanted carved into supports for a shelf.
This is at Egg Heaven on 4th St in Long Beach. I used to live down the street and I'd always admire the artwork on the ceiling. There was only one blank panel left so I asked if I could paint it.
Working on another mural at St Gertrude's. This one regards Beatitudes in the Christian bible. The image is a detail as this piece is 50 ft long. I have just begun and I expect to complete it in three weeks.
Starting a new mural at St Gertrude's. Here is a portion of a very rough preliminary sketch. I'll work on a final sketch at double this size (about 5 ft wide) to transfer to the 50 ft wall using the grid method.
