It's the channeling and focus of passion that entices me to create. Have you ever stared at a blank wall for an hour until it told you what image it held? When you close your eyes and see with your imagination you can open your eyes and trace it onto a canvas while recollecting memories from childhood of a stranger's features or vaguely remembered landscapes to fill in the details. To be so intimate with a process and to hold its outcome in front of you to show someone else is enlighteningly fulfilling. To see someone view my art while clutching their heart is all the feeling I need to know I am doing what I am meant to do.
